Instrumental Class – Xylophone

Easy to play with colourful wooden bars and mallets, the xylophone is often the first instrument that children learn to play. Covering two octaves, the 16-note diatonic xylophones available for rental at the UCM Academy help children develop a firm grasp of pitches.  The xylophone does not require tuning, and the mallets can be controlled by infants who have yet to develop muscle strength of their fingers.
