The benefits of music instrumental training for children of early years are numerous. In instrumental practice, children develop their fine and gross motor skills and multi-sensory coordination. Through the detection of a beat and rhythm, they acquire perception of sequencing and mathematical sense. Instrumental training is also effective for improving concentration, attentiveness and memory functions. Through repeated exercise in reaching a goal, children also learn to be patient and resilient.
